"Oh, how i love Jesus, because he first loved me"

Daily Light

Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. . . . So then each of us will give an account of himself to God. Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer.

God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus.—“The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son. . . . And he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.”

“O great and mighty God, whose name is the Lord of hosts, great in counsel and mighty in deed, whose eyes are open to all the ways of the children of man, rewarding each one according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds.”

1 Cor. 3:13; 1 Cor. 4:5; Rom. 14:10, 12, 13; Rom. 2:16; John 5:22, 27; Jer. 32:18, 19

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight.

“And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.”—I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.—Your sins are forgiven for his name's sake.—God in Christ forgave you.—So that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

“I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean.”—“They will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.”

This is he who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not by the water only but by the water and the blood.

Can wicked rulers be allied with you?

Indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.—Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.

“The ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me.”—A high priest, holy, innocent, unstained.

We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.—The prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience.

We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him. We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

Ps. 94:20; 1 John 1:3; 1 John 3:2, 3; John 14:30; Heb. 7:26; Eph. 6:12; Eph. 2:2; 1 John 5:18, 19

“As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you.”—They were bringing children to him that he might touch them. . . . And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.—Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I have compassion on the crowd because they have been with me now three days and have nothing to eat. And I am unwilling to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.”—For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are.—In his love and in his pity he redeemed them.

“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.”—“Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you.”—“The Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

“Are not all these who are speaking Galileans?”

[Jesus] saw two brothers . . . casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And he said to them, “Follow me.”—Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.

My speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit. . . . Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”—But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God.

“The man who stands next to me,” declares the Lord of hosts.

In him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily.—“I have granted help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.”—“I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with me.”

Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh.—To us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. . . . But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever.” . . . “Let all God's angels worship him.”

King of kings and Lord of lords.

Zech. 13:7; Col. 2:9; Ps. 89:19; Isa. 63:3; 1 Tim. 3:16; Isa. 9:6; Heb. 1:3, 8, 6; Rev. 19:16

NOTE: this was taken from the daily light website. let us take a moment to thank the Lord for everything he has done. We should always thank God before we ask for things that we want or need. We should never let the things that we want get in the way of worshiping Him. He is always first. Let us remember that this day.

have a great day everyone!!

Gods love for us

Walk away
i know that i havent really been on here for a while and thats alright with me if ppl wanted to post things. but i just wanted to say that...

Life may kick us around sometimes but God is always here for us! He will never give us something that we cant handle! God will always be on our side! He loves us! I know that this really isnt a devotion but i just wanted to say that. i think that is something that we all need to hear every now and than.

There are times in our lives when God might seem far away. like we cant reach him, like we cant see his face. But He is there! God is there be on those clouds! All we have to do is keep our heads held high and trust that God is gonna pull us through. And He will!! we just have to trust nd believe.

(hmm, this isn't a devotion, and if it shouldn't be here, feel free to delete it.)

I've been keeping up with this journal, made some comments and posts, etc.

I've recently made a community where I have been posting articles and info about any and every type of abuse. I find that the majority of the community isn't even remotely aware of what types of abuse are out there, or even if their peers are suffering. It's not always easy and obvious to tell. As Christians, I think it's one of our duties to speak out and stand up for those who cannot stand up, or speak out, for themselves.

Come by and take a look, and please keep some prayers for those all over that suffer.

Are you Thirsty??

Walk away
JOHN 7:37

On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink."

Do you want God? Do you want the have peace and happiness? Then come to the Lord and see what he can do for you!!

In Psalm 34:8 Jesus said
"Oh Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him."

Come see what God has in mind for you. He has a plan for your life, if only YOU will let Him work through you.

Just ask God into your heart and believe that He will save you and keep you.

God will never give you more than you can handle. The only reason that God lets things happen to us is because he wants to test our faith.

Believe in Him to get you through the day and anything that might happen.

Walk away
1 TIM 4:12

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

this has to be one of my altime favoite verses...when i was at camp, i was hanging out with a few mew friends and i got to know their pastor. well on the last night together, the pastor gave his youth group a verse. this was it.

this verse is great for teenagers and the young at heart. just because we are young doesnt mean that we cant do things that adults do. dont let anyone tell you different. believe in yourself and you will go far.

should God through your life to your friends and family if they are not chirstians or have never heard of God. cause believe it or not, there are people in the US that have never heard the word of God. and that is sad.

Us christians should be spreading the word everyday, and everytime that God gives us the chance to do so.

i hope that this verse helped you in your daily walk with God.

Walk away
John 15
The Vine and the Branches
1"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. 3You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

1. How has God helped you in the past to become more fruitful in your everyday life?

2. Do you try and remain in God everyday, and try to give him your best in whatever you do?

The Lord will always be there for us no matter what goes on. He helps us all to come closer to him, if we ask Him to. God loves us and would never want to leave us. If we remain in Him, we will live forever.

you dont have to answer the question above, but if you want to, it is totally up to you. if you want other to know about your relationship with God than ok, but please dont feel like you have to answer anything above.
